Recently, we went to Diamond Gastown, to train our lenses on their cocktail craft in the setting sun…

What follows is a set of photographs capturing five cocktails at one of Vancouver’s favorite bars.
Our hosts on the bar were Liana Madera and Adam Domet. Domet also happens to be their new Head Bartender since the departure of Chris Enns to The Botanist. Diamond emphasizes the collaborative efforts of their bar. If you ask any of their staff who created a drink on the given menu, their reply is that ‘we work as a team, they are all of our drinks’.

The Frog. London Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc, Green Chartreuse, Celery, Lime, Herbs and egg white. This drink was created in 2016 for the Kitysilanio neighborhood venue Supermarine, and was brought over to Diamond by Adam Domet.

Diamond is a high-volume cocktail bar. Their set up honed by years of heavy service. At all times, they have two bartenders on their main well.
