When you consider the different “era’s” in cocktails and bartending, you are ultimately hit with a melting pot of idea’s and directions you can take any cocktail creation.
This cocktails was inspired by the vintage glass that was a gift. I then had a gorgeous Earl Grey Infused Liqueur, along with @ADAMSBITTERS Teapot bitters. [a personal favourite]
This is not a fussy cocktail, following the modern take on the Manhattan with 3 oz of quality Rye Whiskey, I used High West Double Rye. Quality Vermouth = Carpano Antica….and then bitters to taste with the liqueur.
Balance is personal and mine is for the boozy and bitter, you may want sweeter, so adjust to taste.
3 oz High West Double Rye Whiskey
.33 oz Carpano Antica
Bar Spoon of House Earl Grey Liqueur
4 dashes Teapot Bitters
Add ingredients to a mixing vessel and stir until combined and cold. Julep Strain into a cocktail glass.
