“Excellia Tea”


2 parts Excellia Reposado Tequila

1 part Hibiscus Syrup

1 part fresh lime juice

1 part Steeped Tea Blend

1/8 part Triple Sec

2 dashes Angostura Aromatic bitters

1 steeped, unsweetened tea, ice globe

Lemon thyme

Prepare Hibiscus syrup: (60 Sugar/40 Water) Simple with a handful of dried hibiscus leaves, allowed to steep until well saturated. Resulting syrup will be bright red.

Prepare Ice Tea: Equal parts loose leaf chamomile, darjeeling and gunpowder green tea. Steep until well brewed. At room temperature, fill unsweetened tea blend into ice globe forms, and freeze. Take remaining tea blend and sweeten with agave syrup. Chill.

In shaker, combine all liquid ingredients, add ice and shake vigorously. Double strain over iced tea globe in a rocks glass. Garnish with spanked, fresh lemon thyme. Imbibe, refresh and rejoice.
