“Curious Tea”

1 part BenRiach Curiositas Peated Speyside Whisky

1 part Goslings Black Seal Rum

2 heavy dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters

5 Drops Bittermans Boston Bittahs Chamomile Lemon Bitters

1/4 Part Fresh Pressed Lime Juice

1/2 Part Black & Green Cardamom Lemongrass Simple Syrup

To Prepare 1 litre of Syrup : 6 parts sugar, 4 parts boiling water, Handful each of green & black cardamom, 3 stalks of lemongrass. Put spices in a large sandwich bag, and hammer with mallet to crush stalks and pods. Add to boiling sugar water. Steep for 7 minutes on medium heat. Double strain, with tea strainer and allow to cool to room temperature.

Combine all ingredients in a stirring vessel, add ice and stir until well chilled.

Strain into chilled coupe and garnish with orange or lemon twist, to personal preference.

Shake fist at problems and enjoy!
