“Chinotto Punch #1”

3 parts Knobb Creek Single Barrel
2 parts Hennessy Black
2 parts fresh lemon juice
1 bar spoon of coarse brown sugar, packed
4 parts San Pellegrino Chinotto
2 dashes Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters
1 inch Orange rind

Add all but Chinotto to mixing glass, shake until sugar is completely dissolved with ice. Strain into chilled mason jar, top with San Pellegrino. Spritz with rind and rest on top.

A spicy and elusive cocktail.
